A good lawyer knows the law. A great lawyer knows the judge…

There is no right to a jury trial in family law. The only person to decide the case is the judge. And although judges are sworn to uphold the law without bias or prejudice, they’re only human.  They have likes and dislikes that become obvious over time to anyone who pays attention.

Every good lawyer should know the law. However, a great lawyer will argue the law to fit the judge hearing the case.
